Danish Eastern High Court rules in favour of Moalem Weitemeyer's Client

Earlier today, the Danish Eastern High Court delivered its verdict in the case against former executives in Hesalight, ruling in favour of our client and board member Niels Mikkelsen.

The case comprised a claim for damages totaling DKKm 200 (approx. EURm 27) against the company’s former members of management and its auditor.

Since the outset of the case, which began over six years ago, Moalem Weitemeyer has spent more than 40 days in court, representing one of the board members, Niels Mikkelsen. While three of the former members of management were held liable, Niels Mikkelsen – represented by Managing Partner Thomas Weitemeyer – was cleared.

As regards our client, today’s verdict at the Eastern High Court was an affirmation of the judgment given by the City Court. It was also the final step in a long and difficult process. Needless to say that the verdict was a big relief for our client and for us.
